My Sister's Pointe Shoes

While reorganizing things at our home, I discovered a box with my sister's old pointe shoes. I never made it that far in ballet and I wish I had tried. However, I don't think I would have been very good with my big feet :)

 I love watching and learning about ballet. It is such a beautiful expression of strength, athleticism, and passion, but it comes with a physical cost. I hope you enjoy my portrayal of the darker side of pointe...
