Migraine Monday

I'm sorry for not blogging lately.  I've been super busy keeping up with my almost three year-old son.  And I've been spending quite a few of my weekends at church serving on the the Video Team learning new things and practicing my live camera skills.

Unfortunately, today, I've had a migraine, which is no picnic when you've got a kiddo to chase around.  This afternoon, while he napped and the light was almost perfect, I was able to have some camera therapy and got some photographs of my cats, Cindy and Maria.  The first one shares my sentiments about migraine Monday...

Candy Corn experiments...

I couldn't resist picking up a bag of candy corn the last time I was at the grocery store.  I have been looking forward to candy corn, falling leaves, pumpkins, and cooler weather for a long time.  Fall is my favorite season and it took it's sweet time getting here!

Today, I played with textures on my photographs of candy corn.  I'm thinking about making a set of Halloween cards with these photographs. Which is your favorite?

After a prolonged period of no rain, we finally enjoyed some showers this week.  Yesterday, I had an opportunity between showers to capture the above images.  I had some fun editing them in Picnik. I have several favorites.  Which photograph is your favorite?

Here's another installment of zoo photos.  The lionesses were so beautiful as they rested and guarded their man.  I need your opinion...Do you like the black and white or the color photograph of the first image?

Have a safe and restful weekend!!!
